XOS1142 H&H Sterling Precious Planet Christmas Ornament. Extremely Rare Early Edition #227 Of Only 2,000 Handmade Limited Edition. Precious Planet A Silver Tribute to the Earth.

Environmental awareness was the inspiration for this special limited edition Precious Planet ornment. Created as a joint project by Chip deMatteo and Clara Scroggins, this was offered to collectors attending the Hallmark Collector Show/Convention in Kansas City, Missouri in 1987.

To remind us to protect, restore, conserve, and recycle for the good of our precious planet. Each silver globe was hand finished, polished and numbered upon creation. This weighted sterling ornament is in as new condition, complete with the original box, pouch and romance cards. It is number 227 out of the 2000 issued.
