Sterling Silver 12 Days of Christmas Collectible Ornament Set in Original

These is a rare collectible set of Franklin Mint medals with designs depicting the 12 Days of Christmas. Each of the 12 sterling silver medals is enclosed in a clear lucite ornament that may be opened and closed. The medals illustrate the activity of each day in the popular Christmas carol, and feature the corresponding verse on the back.

This set was issued in 1970. The medals are in fantastic condition, and although the case has a few minor flaws, this Heirloom Edition set is a great find... Just in time for the holidays! Ornament Size: 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" Case Size: 11 3/8" x 13.5" x 2 Condition: No paperwork. Case shows minor discoloration and has faint odor. There is some separation of the case cover from the interior insert/holder toward the top (see photo).

The sides are a little loose on a few of the Lucite holders. The ornaments are held tightly in the case and must be removed with care.
