A Stuart Devlin 1976 "Kings of Orient" Christmas Box. Sterling silver and gilt circular Christmas box by Stuart Devlin depicting three kings resting under a palm tree. The lid is adorned with a holly leaf and berries.

Complete with the original card box and certificate. Numbered 245 of a limited edition of just 500.

One of a set of ten designs depicting Christmas carols. Fully hallmarked on the base for maker SD (Stuart Devlin), the 925 silver lion passant, the London mark, B for 1976. Also stamped is the number 245 which matches that written on the certificate. The box lid is half-marked with SD for Stuart Devlin and date letter B (1976). In overall excellent condition, with just a very small amount oxidisation. No dents or scratches, paint loss, etc. The box is also in excellent cosmetic condition.
