Antique Germany silver mercury glass kugel 8 christmas holiday ornament

Very nice unusually large antique Germany mercury glass kugal. It is 8 in diameter. No hanger or cap you'll have to make one or use one from another ornament. The top hole is 1 1/4", the entire top rim is 1 3/4" & it is a bit rough, but won't show once under a cap.

The glass is thick, the silver is good, only some missing from the top, see the photos. The inside looks clean, there are some small spots that show on the outer surface. You know you can not put water in or wipe the inside of a mercury ornament, the silver will instantly disappear. LOOK closely at the photos.
