Large Antique 19th century Mercury Glass Kugel Christmas Ornament Silver

Fine large antique 19th century silver mercury glass kugel with original brass fittings and decorative string for hanging. These were made in Europe - France and Germany. Measures approximately 4 1/4 in diameter. Very good overall condition - crazing consistent with age - appearance is much better in person than in photo illuminated by flash.
