SET 3 Figural CHRISTMAS Spoons Sterling Silver Mayer Bros NO MONO Santa Ornament
Offering this whimsical set of three Christmas spoons, some motifs pretty scarce. NO MONOGRAMS ON ANY of the spoons. Cute little designs made Mayer Brothers. All very festive - a unique touch to your holiday table! Large scale ornament has lovely detail, full figured Santa Claus is decorated with his suit and hat on both sides, and doves on the other spoon with Peace on the handle.
The doves and ornament have a smooth back. I use my sterling spoons every day!
And these would be perfect for tea time or dessert service or for kids to use. I have several Christmas season sterling pieces listed so please check out my other listings! No pieces are monogrammed anywhere like the many souvenir spoons out there. Lengths are 4 to4 1/4 inches long each. Total weight is about 46 grams combined on my little digital scale.All are marked Sterling and with maker's marks. The one mark doesn't match the others, but I know the design is part of the Mayer brothers Christmas set as I have seen it through the years. Please note these are in varying used condition with some scratching and stubborn tarnish spots as well as surface wear from use and polishing. Some linear scratches to the smooth spoon bowls more noticeable due to the mirrored finish there. Some scuffs and tarnish on the back that did lighten with polish but could use more time.
