Vintage Glass Christmas Ornament SANTA ON A BALL German Figural Decoration Pink

Original Vintage, Santa on a Ball, Glass Christmas Ornament. Santa head on a ball.

On the metal cap is the word, Germany. Back of ornament, photo 4 (sitting on a bottle cap). Profiles, photos 9 & 10 (sitting on a bottle cap). Ball has pink and silver tones.

Santa's eyes are black, and his mouth is red. Santa's collar is a cream color. Beard & mustache are a white color. Hat trim is a sliver color, with a teeny bit of green on the hat.

Some areas of the ornament are transparent. The majority of the hat, some of the eye area and some areas of the ball are transparent. There are darker areas here and there, I guess this is due to aging. Please ignore the reflection of my white photo tent and black camera lens in the photos. Ornament has been in a box for decades. I don't know the exact year this ornament was made in Germany. Length (including the loop at the top) - 3 1/4 or 8.3 cm. Circumference of Ball - 6 1/4 or 15.9 cm. I don't see any cracks.

Paint missing in some areas. In some areas, the ornament is transparent and you can see inside/through the ornament. Patina on the hook holder.

I have not removed the hook holder, so I don't know the condition of the ornament under the hook holder. Overall, this original vintage Santa on a ball ornament, is in beautiful condition.
